TAU Cerámica triumphantly presents Drysystem® by TAU for the 45x90 at Cersaie 2007.
TAU Cerámica created quite a buzz amongst professionals visiting the company’s stand at Cersaie with Drysystem® by TAU, the new dry tile laying system patented by the company, which does not require the use of any kinds of glue or adhesive. The product has now been adapted for the new 45x90 format models and has been a big hit with the public, who can see the advantages it offers.
The innovative product from the Castellón-based company had its own area on the stand at the event in Italy. Drysystem® by TAU is marketed through S3 (Smart Surface System), the new Tau Group division specialising in the development of specific solutions tailored to each surface covering and equipment project, whether horizontal or vertical. This means making the most of the advantages that only the most advanced ceramics can currently offer in the fields of architecture, urban planning, the living environment and interior design. Besides the aforementioned dry laying system, S3 is also getting to grips with other ceramic solutions such as ventilated and photovoltaic façades, raised floorings, safe, comfortable floorings for urban spaces, tiles adapted for use by people with reduced mobility and the development of ceramic materials for use with outdoor furniture.
DrySystem® by TAU comprises a base made of a polymer which is bonded onto the ceramic tile. This base is tongued and grooved, which means that the various pieces can be assembled and slotted together seamlessly, thus guaranteeing all the benefits of the ceramic layer on top.
This means that the TAU Cerámica range can provide unprecedented benefits in this area of the market; for instance it does not generate any residues, uses less environmentally damaging materials and the flooring can be reused and recycled. Then there are other benefits required by users, such as the fact that the pieces fit together perfectly without adhesives, allowing them to be laid easily, quickly and precisely.
TAU Cerámica has now adapted Drysystem® by TAU to its new 45x90 ceramic format, and this model has been officially launched to coincide with the Cersaie fair where it created a real buzz amongst opinion leaders who visited the stand, as they could see the advantages of the new format, in terms of smoother, more even finishes.
More specifically, TAU Cerámica has launched six new aesthetic products in 45x90 (Iron, Aluminium, Espot, Ancona, Napa and Portland) formats, three of them in a more modern, cutting-edge style (one of them has a leather-effect texture), while another of the lines goes for a metal finish.
